Summary
Writing to her publisher concerning reports she has heard stating that a second edition of a book for which she has written a preface for a planned second edition has appeared in print, expressing her surprise that the edition has evidently appeared without her having been "applied to to regulate the terms of it according to our treaty, a copy of which I enclose", and requesting an explanation from him "as quickly as possible".
