Collection of letters and corrected typescripts and page proofs : Jackson, to Matthew J. Bruccoli, 1977-1979.

All items in the collection are related to Eudora Welty's afterword to E.P. O'Donnell's The Great Big Doorstep, published in 1979 as part of Matthew J. Bruccoli's "Lost American Fiction" series by Southern Illinois University Press. Collection includes three autograph letters signed, three typed letters signed, and one telegram from Welty to Bruccoli; one photocopy of the typescript of Welty's afterword with her autograph corrections; two additional photocopies of the corrected typescript, one with additional notes for the printer; and page proofs for Welty's afterword with her autograph corrections.
