Summary
Thanking him for the "two little books you have sent me", and going on to write that "'What the Boy Thought' was a great lark and & it has gone round the house"; telling Little that he was already "much interested in your vision of empire, dealing as it does with questions that I have worked upon with industry", and wondering "how of us have dreamt dreams of a new & spacious political synthesis"; noting however, that is a "low class Englishman with no more share in this teapot Empire of Disraeli's than any Hindoo", and his mind therefore "takes a stronger trend to the American mass than you seem to do."
