Writing to complain that "Somebody of the 'exclusive' type seems to have got hold of Who's who", and that he does not find the "lesser known notables" of the kind for whom he needs a reference book; adding that he couldn't find Victor Fisher, Rebecca West, or Landfear Lucas, and concluding "Nobody very much wants long entries about Mr. Balfour or Mr. Asquith. We lnown about them. One wants the half familiar names."
