Writing to say that he has seen Longmans and learned that they "charge nothing for the privilege of translation", and that "M Lévy [presumably the Paris publisher Michel Lévy] needs no further authority" for an unspecified publishing proposal; promising to get her "Germania" "& see whether attention can be called to it", although "The misfortune is that 9 years have passed since it came out"; stating that they are very glad she is coming to England.
