Personal and professional correspondence chiefly comprised of letters from friends, family, literary associates, etc., addressed to Marie Rose Blaze de Bury, as well as to her husband Henri Blaze de Bury (1813-1888), dated circa 1840 to circa 1890, with a small collection of letters addressed to their daughter, Henrietta ("Yetta") Blaze de Bury (died 1902), their younger daughter Fernande Blaze de Bury (1854-1931), and individual letters addressed to a small number of family members and associates. Letters pertain to various aspects of Blaze de Bury's personal and professional activities, including literary and political correspondence, private letters from friends regarding their social and literary activities, publishing, family life, reading, music, current events in France, England, elsewhere in Europe, and news of mutual friends and acquaintances; as well as letters regarding her financial interests, including a number of letters concerning the settlement of the inherited estate of Anne Dunbar (née Caldwell), along with letters from various members of the Caldwell family of Northern Ireland and elsewhere.
