Mimeograph copy of a typescript of the play, "Me, Vashnya," written by Tennessee Williams as a student during his year at Washington University in 1936-1937.
After failing to win the class prize for his play, Williams sought to destroy all surviving copies of the typescript; he was prevented from doing so owing to the efforts of his professor, William G.B. Carson, who successfully created and preserved copies of the play.
