Morgan Jr. by his librarian, Belle Greene, in 1922, and consisting of numerous items given to Morgan's father, Pierpont Morgan, by John Bigelow in 1906 and 1907, as well as Franklin-related items acquired by the Morgans from various other sources. MA 723 was bound in 1922 and titled "Benjamin Franklin. Autograph letters, notes, etc."; the collection was disbound in the early 2000s and is housed together in a document box. Each item is separately cataloged and the source is noted if known.
Written to Jefferson when he was Governor of Virginia.
