Discussing the sudden marriage of William Windham; worrying about how Miss Francis will take the news; offering her support; saying "Oh my dear friend let me entreat of you--to summon all your resolution--look on him as your greatest Enemy--the destroyer of your happiness--cast the thoughts of him from you--as soon as you possibly can--and be happy in spite of him;" saying that his character was "so well known--that no blame can be attached to your name--the whole must fall on him."
