Summary
Concerning his ill health, remarking that he has a "great desire & interest to live" but that although he takes care of himself "it appears to make no difference." Noting that reading does not occupy him enough and that "the only relief I find springs from the composition of poetry, which necessitates contemplations that lift me above the stormy mist of sensations which are my habitual place of abode." Mentioning that he has been composing a poem on Keats (his Adonais), which is "better than any thing that I have yet written, & worthy both of him & of me." Remarking on her travel plans; noting that no one in England writes them any more; mentioning the departure of Mavrocordatos.
