Summary
Consisting of what appears to be an address panel (on the verso) with the following text: "Dublin Castle. twentieth October / Edmond Malone Esq / Queen Ann St / East / Cavendish Square / London / R.B. Sheridan." The recto contains part of a letter to a "dear Ned" (possibly Malone), written from "D. Castle" on October 19, 1785. A later note identifies the writer of this letter as "Jephson," which might be the playwright Robert Jephson, a lifelong friend of Malone's; the letter does refer to a pension for "Mrs. Jephson's life & mine."
