Summary
Acknowledging receipt of her letter and replying to Dr. Dix's wish to know about the sowing of wheat; asking that she "let the Dr. know I shall acquiesce with Thankfulness in his Judgment and as I have I suppose a Man engaged at Worcester and have now sent up [illegible] I think it will be advisable for him to hire for me ten or twenty acres more of Land as I shall keep several Heifers and cannot think of being deprived of indulging myself in the Leisure Hours of this one Year in the Pleasures of Agriculture."
