Concerning preparations for the Battle of Corunna; reporting on intelligence he received from Galicia, Vigo, Baiona and Badajoz; reporting on the "strictness of the Cordon...It is not unlikely that the Cordon may continue, tho the necessity that gave rise to it (the fear of Contagion) may have ceased but it may be now made a pretense if they have any serious intentions in collecting an army upon the positions of this Kingdom;" waiting further direction from him.
