Summary
Concerning his "office books and his papers" which he says he has "preserved" and which he had promised to send to him; confessing he has done nothing about it and is unsure how to proceed; asking "If the disposition of all my papers & books in the office of Mr. Jones, with instructions for your access, is not now agreeable, or your setting down with me in my office any day you please, I shall be happy to embrace any proper alternative which may occur to you." adding that he hopes that he is in better health.
