Relating intelligence on troop encampments and movements and vessel specifications and movements in Virginia; commenting on the French troops "gone to the Northward with Gen'l Washington & that a considerable part of the Cavalry had gone to Southward;" adding that if the Commander in Chief needed further information on "any part of Virginia" he would be happy to communicate "every knowledge I have of that Country."
