Summary
Saying "My correspondence just now is rather unmanageable, but I must send you a brief line to thank you for the second volume of Froissart & to say how pleased & flattered I was by the dedication of the book. Little as we have met, I feel as if I know you well - I rarely wander now in the pleasant [illegible] of Literature, but you have made happy some of my rare visits to that good land. And in the sphere of politics - national politics, I mean, I am outside the party racket - I shake hands with you as a brother in arms."
