Concerning papers to be turned over the Prime Minister, William Wyndham Grenville; mentioning a letter by Governor Duncan (possibly Jonathan Duncan), which "is of an old date, and was addressed to me when he [conceived?] me to be in Government" and some manuscripts, which "are not of much value with perhaps one or two exceptions, but as they are in possession of a Foreigner it may probably be thought better not to leave them there;" asking his correspondent for a letter of acknowledgement.
