Summary
Collection consists of 88 letters to the Marchioness of Abercorn, 2 letters to Charles Arbuthnot, and 1 hand-coloured manuscript map of Abbotsford, which was enclosed in a letter to the Marchioness dated 25 July 1811. Letters to the Marchioness discuss his literary career and writing, his work as a clerk, and his domestic life and financial affairs, as well as her health, family and travels.
