Summary
Thanking him for the "early Communication of the Intelligence from Gen'l Washington. Mr. Gadsden & the Gentlemen with him are very anxious to have it printed, immediately; if you will, therefore, Send for Rogers, & order him hither, with such a draught of a Hand-Bill, as you w'd chuse published, on this Occasion, he may quickly strike off Some Copies of it - you see by the inclosed, under the C. Town Head, how the Enemy there continued to impose Falsehoods on those whom they can induce to believe whatever they assert."
