Summary
Being an autograph poem of twelve lines on the death of Thomas Southerne and with references to his contemporaries Dryden, Betterton, Lee and Congreve; referring to Nathaniel Lee in the poem as "poor Nat" and including a footnote saying "Nat Lee. Mr. Southern in a L'tr published a few years ago, giving him this Epithet ['poor Nat'] & says it was bestowed on him by all his friends after he had the misfortune of loosing his Senses."
