Summary
Thanking him for his letter and his "Prospect of Support, and the Situation in which you find the Country is in the highest degree satisfactory. - The Line you seem to draw of not passing the 100,000£ seems under all circumstances clearly the most Eligible. - I shall be obliged however when I return to Town to trouble you with some Papers respecting two small Pensions, which are stated as having been actually recommended, but the Particulars of which I do not know enough to mention them on memory... I will take care about defering the Grant to the Duke of Gloucester."
