Summary
Thanking him for his concern over his health; reporting that he is "very considerably mended. I have recovered much of my strength and play a very good Knife : in short, I do nothing but ride, eat, drink, and I wish I could say sleep : but in that respect I am much advanced, and hope in time to be a match for the Lady in Waller whom he celebrates for being able to sleep when she pleases. I need not tell you, (I trust), and I am sure I can not find words to tell you, how much I long to be at Wotton and to have the honour and pleasure of living the life of the Grignans. I hope Mrs. Grenville is got into the style I last saw her at Wotton of walking her certain number of Leagues a day; and that the young Family is in perfect health. I beg leave to assure Mrs. Grenville of my most humble services and to present the same to Lady Hester, if with you."
