Summary
Upbraiding him for not completing his portrait; threatening to publicize this breach of contract to the press and to Romney's friends: "I must take the liberty of expostulating a little with you about your mean & tergiversating behavior, with regard to your promise of drawing my picture once over again at your return from London, with an Addition to the price. Did you agree to that or did you not? you know you did. And yet you now fly from your word.... Cave litem perfide Pictor."
