Summary
Expressing her regret for not having thanked him sooner for his letter and for the trouble he went to send her the beautiful ornament that the Princesse de Parme intended for a convent of English Trappist nuns. She stopped by a few times to thank Mme Pastoret in person, but she was not in. Hoping that he will ask his wife to find a moment when she can present the chaplain of her nuns, who is currently in Paris, to her.
