Summary
Saying that he would be happy to arrange an appointment between her and Mr. Watkin; sending "the enclosed portrait of my unworthy self for your parlour album" (this item is no longer with the letter); thanking her for her inquiries about his son-in-law, William Overend Priestley: "He has been for a fortnight or so under hydropathic treatment at Bellevue near Paris, but has not yet begun to make a movement for the better. He remains very weak and helpless, and necessarily under such circumstances makes Eliza very anxious."
