Summary
Enclosing two papers from the Reverend Mr. Church of Boxford, Suffolk, one a copy of an inscription on the church in Boxford, the other a copy of an inscription under a mezzotint of "Amelia Landgravess of Hesse Cassel", which is dated 1642, putting it before the time that Horace Walpole "supposes that Prince Rupert first made the discovery of this art"; suggesting this ought to be sent to Walpole before it is shown to an academic society; adding in a postscript that he is also enclosing a "Court Calendar" from the time of Philip and Mary to be presented to the Society and that "I have always been of the opinion that all MSS should be deposited in some publick Library."
