Summary
Asking for leniency for a prisoner convicted of perjury in the case of Macknamara M.P. and held at Newgate whom he believes to be innocent; fearing that he may be sent to Botany Bay or the Hulks; asking to let him know if he is on the list to be sent and if that is the case he will come to London "...to say my best word in Favor of a man who I think if his Pardon can be with propriety given him will be a usefull & not a bad member of the Society to which he may be restored."
