Concerning a summer tour in England: "If you really will undertake to guide us, and guard too; let it be as you so kindly propose, and let us cast in our lots to-gether as of old"; telling her that "[n]either I nor my sister know anything about English travelling: what you like will be absolutely best for us. All I stipulate for, if I may, is that we leave soon, -- as Sarianna, though better, is far from well, and wants a change at once"; adding that "Pen says you could start on Saturday; we shall be quite ready by then"; concluding "Give your orders, dear Lady, and you shall have the most cheerful obedience from all of us!"
