Summary
Granting him permission to make an alteration in his house, namely to "lower the Wall of your House towards my Garden", as long as his correspondent lives in the house himself; stipulating, however, that if his correspondent rents out the house, then he should "enter into an agreement to restore the Wall to its present state [...] My object is I do assure you to accomodate you, but I cannot think of extending that accomodation to any other Tenant."
