Summary
Thanking him for his letter and commenting on several of his writing projects; referring to "The Oppressed English" saying "I quite see the situation, and am only sorry that my old friends at No. 4 Park St could not have been the sole publishers of the book. Glad you like the Times articles. I took a lot of trouble over them, and people have been very kind about them. As regards "All In It" I have now practically finished, and hope to send you the complete MS shortly. By the way, Blackwood is anxious to have the title "Carrying On with the First Hundred Thousand", and I am asking Watt to cable you to that effect, in case you wish to change too. I confess I don't greatly fancy "All In It." Going to visit the Grand Fleet tomorrow. Then France again. Everybody very optimistic here."
