Notes
George Clint was an English portrait painter and engraver, notably of theatrical subjects.
Clint's portrait of Bannister was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1828.
Written from 65 Gower Street.
Housed with MA 3723, a fragment in an unknown hand, that discusses a painting sold to Lord Egremont, the whereabouts of Mrs. Colman, Miss F. Kelly and a robbery in Ireland. It is unclear to whom this fragment pertains, though he refers to "Mr. B." so it is possible it refers to Bannister.
