Offering his compliments and good wishes and his condolences "on his unfortunate Loss, and grieve for an Event, which so nearly touches Him, and clouds his pleasant, Chearfull Lodge;" adding "Lord Temple will be always very glad to see Mrs. Dingley; where Mr. Pitt would be happy to meet him, if autumnal Symptoms did not forbid distant excursions."
