Summary
Requesting shirts, overhalls and shoes for his men; saying that as to the quantity he has requested, "you will please to observe there is no more inserted than what will barely complete each man with one article of each kind : could it be possible to furnish the detachment with two of each kind of the articles of Shirts and overhalls it would give the men a proper change and occasion those articles to last double as long. I Suppose by the time the shoes will arrive every man I have will be entirely without." .
