The original signature was excised, but another signature of roughly the same size (but on different paper and with different ink) has been supplied in its place.
This manuscript scroll measures approximately 22 feet, 4 inches long by 3 13/16 inches wide. The scroll, assembled by Poe, was at some point cut into 64 leaves, averaging 4 or 5 inches each, and was housed as 21 strips. It was reassembled and returned to the original scroll format in 2013.
