Richardson does not give a year of writing. Based on his birth and death dates, it is probable that this letter was written during the 18th century, though it might also have been written early in the 19th century.
Written from Argyll Street, a street in London where Richardson is known to have lived.
Addressed to "Mr. Peake." This is probably Richard Peake, who worked in the Treasury Office of Drury Lane for many years.
