Summary
Suggesting changes to his upcoming production of "All's Well that Ends Well;" saying "One last word more as to 'All's Well' - Just before the close of the Serenade which ends act 2'd Diana (or instead suppose her maid) should appear at window, and beckon Bertram to keep his appointment by coming in - at the termination of the serenade he should enter the house & other characters exeunt - otherwise serenade goes for nothing - probably it has been so rehearsed, but no harm in a hint - Do you know that 'Bold Stroke for a Wife' is coming out at Drury with songs, ala Shakespeare? who do you think plays Feignwell? why - credat etc - Braham?;" adding, in a postscript, that he hopes 'William will come tomorrow."
