Summary
Enclosing a letter on which he wishes to get his approval before sending it to a Mr. Baird with whom he appears to be in some negotiations regarding property; commenting that "Belleisle is not yet subdued, Bussy is not yet come over, the whole Alley is confounded, and the Stocks Stand Still. In Short, there is nothing of News here for me to write to you except about Lady Erskine, whose beauty is become the admiration, not only of men women and children, but likewise as Judge Page says, of persons of higher rank;" sending his regards to him and Mrs. Johnstone.
