Explaining to her that Lord Orford had given him a copy of a portrait of "Lady Margaret Douglas the mother of King Henry (Lord Darnley) and that he has given that portrait to Lady Anne Hamilton; adding that he had asked Lord Orford, before his death, for a limning "of the Jewel in the Strawberry Hill Closet which was worn annually by the Countess of Lenox" in order that it might be included in the copy of the portrait; discussing details of the procurement of the limning if his request is granted.
