With a note on the verso describing a golden heart "set with jewels" from a "list of Trinkets at Strawberry Hill;" adding an additional note saying "a limning of this jewel was promised to me by Lord Orford but after his Nephew's death I asked for it and he being chafed by the consequences of that event delayed sending it so that I never got it. I am sure Mrs. Damer on sight or copy of these lines will not hesitate to give a limning to y'r Ladyship that it may appear around the neck of the Countess of Lenox in your picture of that Lady."
