Notes
The committee members are listed by name and profession at the start of the contract. Their signatures at the end of the contract are accompanied by a strip of paper seals.
Witnessed by John Gimblett.
There are a few insertions and edits in another hand on the contract.
The paper is blind-stamped with the royal coat of arms and the words "one pound ten shillings." Each sheet has also been stamped in black ink with an emblem and the words "two pence sheet."
An earlier catalog record notes that the contract was removed from an extra-illustrated volume from the series Dramatic Memoirs (PML 9505-9528), though there is no indication of this on the document and it cannot be confirmed.
