Summary
Discussing the "York scheme"; offering his opinion on the matter: "the best plan they could possibly pursue would be to place it under the direction of some person tolerably eminent for his knowledge of management, & share the risk with him. The proprietors of the Birmingham Theatre, which was under similar circumstances, adopted this plan at my suggestion & they have not repented my advice"; suggesting that they meet to discuss the idea further when Brook comes to London.
