Summary
Concerning the invasion of Holland; relaying orders that he has received requesting him to "push on to Schermerhorn and Avenkorn, it being the Commander in Chiefs desire that these places should be occupied, if possible, this night. It is my intention to occupy the Canal which leads from Alkmaar to Schermerhorn, by which means we shall communicate;" providing further details directions.
