Summary
Concerning negotiations with Senesino; asking whether Senesino had accepted the offer of 1200 guineas; suggesting "If he does not then we must provide a soprano man and a Contr'alto woman (tho the Merighi stays) at ab't 1000 guineas (both) or, thereabouts - w'th an absolute condition of their being in London by the end of September;" adding that he has a young man in mind in case Senesino cannot be engaged; saying he has not yet heard from Signora Barbara Pisani but hopes to the following week.
