Sending him a parcel he would liked delivered to Colonel John Macleod; saying that the excellent reference he gave for him added to his desire to help him and especially since his nephew will be exchanged as a prisoner at Malta he wishes to help free Colonel Macleod; asking him to remind him when they last met and hoping they will be able to renew their friendship.
