Summary
Concerning "a rare print which I take to be a Titian," which he sent to Hazlitt. Noting that he has not received a letter acknowledging receipt, worrying that Hazlitt is away. Authorizing anyone at Wem to open this letter so the "parcel may not moulder away for want of looking after." Discussing other artworks for sale, and mentioning that he is writing from the study of [the financier John Julius] Angerstein and that he is surrounded by paintings worth £60,000.
