George Lamb served as Under-Secretary of State from 1830-1834 under his brother William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne, who was Home Secretary under Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey.
Identifying himself after his signature as "The Brother of the present Lord Melbourne."
Removed from an extra-illustrated volume from the series Dramatic Memoirs (PML 9505-9528).
