Giving an account of what has been done with the prisoners, and reporting that "the whole of the prisoners enlisted for the War do not amount to 200"; promising to send copies of his correspondence with Lord Cornwallis; remarking that Cornwallis's "politeness to [Lafayette] and the troops in this state Has Been Uninterrupted," but noting that "his Commissaries unless he has interfered Have Been Cunning as usual."
