Summary
Concerning the family pedigree, which will establish certain rights: writing "Last night I received yours, and as to the Pedigree have since discovrst my Cosen Francis & Robert Newton and find by them that they likewise have a Pedigree, wch is at present in the hands of my Cosen John Newton of Haitley; and that it so farre Concurrres wth yours, that Sr. Peter Newton was the first of the Newtons that Came into this Country, and that he marryed his daughter to John Lloyd of Llanvorda..."; adding that the pedigrees and other evidence will, he thinks, enable Edward Lloyd to "passe the Pikes"; arranging a meeting to discuss the pedigrees with Lloyd at the Raven the following night.
