Summary
Discussing a financial matter in detail; saying that he has received assurances that "it was Trust Money, that Roberts was concern'd in a double capacity as Agent and Joint Proprietor[,] that Time would be given and every Regard shewn, but undoubted Security was expected"; describing further discussions and possible plans of action; writing "You know the security I have to propose is either the remains of my other English security or an Irish security which I have [unapprobated] which was settl'd by Mr. Duane on the arrears of my whole Estate"; urging haste; mentioning a difference between Irish and English practices: "...it's the practice in Ireland, and I gave a power on that account for what I borrow'd of Messrs Labouche's bank which does not affect here, & about which they are no way anxious -- I mention it because I would be conscientious when I assert any thing, & leave the rest to you."
