Summary
Congratulating him on his return; apologizing for a trip on the [HMS] Hind that wasn't as pleasant as it could have been for him, Lady Bath and a friend; assuring him that if he has an occasion to travel abroad in the future he would be happy to receive him on any ship he might have "and that it may be in my Power to do away the Ill Impression the Passage in the Hind must have made on You;" adding that he is waiting for a new ship assignment from Lord Spencer.
